Moreno Blue

The Collection Moreno Blue 2020 explores the connection between the blanket of silence that suddenly descended, over the world, in 2020, and the unique opportunity this gave each of us to go within, and find ourselves amidst our deepest thoughts and fears. Each of us was given an opportunity to meet our true essence and distill ‘The Truth of the One who is Inside’. For some, it became a real blessing: for others it was the darkest place, almost impossible to endure. I found myself tracing the change humanity experienced, as if mapping the differences in terrain between the deep purity, and monumental silence, of a frozen landscape and the ‘over’ of normal our lives - overconsumption, overproduction, overweight, and all other ‘overs’, even the ‘over’ of too many relationships, void of real meaning.

Excess ‘noise’ in our everyday lives may create a fear of meeting ourselves, in our own true silence: a place where we can just ‘be’.
